service project! You can come for any amount of time that works for you!
When: Saturday Mar. 14th.
9:30- 3:30 pm
Where: The School of Arts and Sciences, 3208 Thomasville Rd,
Tallahassee, FL 32308.
What to bring:
-Work Gloves
-Closed toe shoes or work boots
-Shovels
-a Chain saw, if you have one
-Loppers
-Clippers
-Rakes
-Maddox
-sunscreen, hat
-water bottle (we will have a water cooler and cups but help us conserve waste by bringing your own bottle!)
We could also use a flat bed truck or two, as we need to move some large branches/trunks of some trees that were cut down at our first workday. Let me know if anyone wants some of that to create a brush pile for wildlife in your backyard. Otherwise, I'll have information on where we need to take it.
At 9:30 pm I will provide an orientation to the project and then follow with a safety briefing, and then assign work teams.
We will provide drinking water so you can keep hydrated throughout the day
